Our partner for Phase 2 is Laurie Nathan, who is based with the Department of Geography and Environmental Science at the University of Cape Town.   He is directing research on regional issues for the third component of the Crisis States Programme: Global and Regional Axes of Conflict.

Laurie Nathan is a former Executive Director of the Centre for Conflict Resolution at UCT and currently a Visiting Fellow with the Crisis States Research Centre.
