Crisis States Programme publications
The Crisis States Programme seeks to make as widely available as possible the results of the research in which our various participants are engaged.
To this end, rather than waiting for articles to be published in peer-review journals,
we are publishing the research in the form of working papers.' Working Papers:
series 1' contain outputs from the first phase of research (2001-2005) whilst 'Working Papers: series 2' covers the
current phase of work from 2006 to
2010. Papers can be downloaded in PDF format:

These working papers form the basis of the briefing papers which we are
producing with the intention of informing policy debates:

We also have a series of publications, aimed at stimulating discussion on themes and theories related to the work of the Development Research Centre:
Discussion Papers
In 2006 the Centre launched a series of papers on related themes written by
authors outside the Centre.
Occasional Papers
Also available on this website are a number of papers related to the work of the Crisis States
Research Centre,
which have been presented in seminars and other events organised by Centre:
